Wellness & Vaccines
A question we hear a lot: “Why does my pet need to come in every year?” Pets age much faster than humans do. To put it in perspective, in 1 year your pet can age several years.
Our doctors will listen to their heart and lungs, look into their eyes and ears, palpate their organs, and if needed, do diagnostics such as bloodwork to give us more information about how their internal systems are working. If we see your pet regularly, it is easier to detect any issues and can address them sooner.

Surgery
Many soft tissue surgeries that your pet may need are available here. Spay “Overiohysterectomy”, Neuter “Castration” and Mass Removals “Lumpectomy” are the bulk of what we do here for surgery.
More involved surgeries such as airway repair, orthopedic (hips, joints, muscles), complicated gastrointestinal procedures, or even transplant surgeries can be referred to specialty centers.

Dentistry
Dental health is tricky, we get it. Some pets don’t like to be handled and it can be difficult to find the right products to help keep their teeth and gums clean. Below is a link to the Veterinary Oral Health Council, who reviews products for the VOHC’s standards for effective plaque and tartar control in animals. If you haven’t been able to get a handle on their oral health, we are equipped to perform dentistry on cats and dogs of all ages, a valuable tool that allows us to fully clean and examine their mouth. This involves a day visit at the hospital where your pet will be put under anesthesia, but will be able to go home the same day.

Radiology
We have a state of the art digital radiology equipment that makes viewing x-rays for us simple and quick. Radiology can be used as a diagnostic tool for fractures, hip dysplasia, heart disease, detecting masses, obstructions, and more. Anything that our doctors need further analysis on can be sent to a radiologist.

Pharmacy
We offer a large selection of affordable prescriptions right in the hospital, no need to go to another pharmacy to pick up your pets scripts! If that doesn’t work for you, our online pharmacy also offers a ton and will deliver right to your front door.
We require 24 hours notice for medication refills.

Humane Euthanasia
We offer in-hospital euthanasia services, including cremation through Final Gift, and other memorial products.

Supporting Local Shelters
We work very closely with the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter, in fact, many of our staff have adopted pets from them and volunteer for them in their spare time as well. We also collect donations for the shelter during the holidays to deliver to all the good doggos.

Urgent Care
Have something going on with your pet and you’re not sure what to do? Are they acting off? Straining to urinate? Extra itchy? Something smells weird?
PLEASE call us! We often have day-of appointments available on a first-come, first serve basis. Little things can turn into big things quickly if not addressed in time. If you’re not sure, you can always just ask. We want to help you!
